I just received an email from AAA about a good deal for a 8-day 6-night trip to London and Paris if you between the ages of 18 and 35. The trip is actually through Contiki. It costs $965 per person and is through March 23 to October 12. Here’s the details from the email:

Discover London and Paris on this action-packed tour with other 18-35 year old travelers from around the world. But no need to negotiate maps, guidebooks, transportation or currency exchange – leave that to Contiki! Contiki Tours not only take you to the most desirable destinations but they encourage you to see the world with fresh eyes as you share new experiences with travelers your own age.

Your adventure begins with three days in London that includes a city tour of major sights like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and Houses of Parliament. Attend a West End musical and stroll the hip neighborhood of Soho. You may also choose an optional day trip to see the city of Bath and the ancient monoliths of Stonehenge (at additional cost). Plus, there’s plenty of free time and a 1-day pass on the London subway to do your own thing.

Eiffel TowerThen you’re off to Paris for three days where you’ll take an Illuminations Tour of the city followed by a cruise on the River Seine. See the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Champs Élysées, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Also visit a French perfumery and take a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles. There will still be time to shop, visit museums, people watch at the many outdoor cafes, and soak up the “joie de vivre!”

Price includes:
• 6 nights hotel accommodations in twin-share rooms
• 6 breakfasts and 2 three-course dinners
• Transportation by modern, air-conditioned motor coach plus ferry crossing of English Channel
• Services of experienced, professional Tour Manager and Driver
• Sightseeing tours of London and Paris plus a day trip to the Palace of Versailles
• Ticket to a West End musical in London and cruise of the River Seine in Paris
• Contiki Travelers Guide and document wallet
• Hotel tips, local taxes and service charges

So, this would be a really cool Summer vacation. Thinking of doing it myself, anyone else?
